Week in Review, a Giveaway, AND a Hint!

Old School Speech
I started this linky so that SLPs could go to 1 place to get ideas for therapy. Write a post about either what you did this week, or what you have planned for next week. All I ask is that you share a link back to my blog in your post.
(This post includes direct links to the products. Free products are indicated.)

Theme of the week: Easter

5 Minute Day:
Just in case you're wondering how to do a 5-minute day in a very small room:
I'm at the head of the table with one student, and the others are at the other end of the table.
For the independent center, I pulled out Speech is Sweet's A Dab of Speech and Language for the Year. It's still "almost" half-off, so if you're even thinking about getting it, do it before the price goes up! I can't wait to see what she includes for May!

Preschool Language:
I only had one of my language students this week due to a longer than expected meeting. April's Showers (Linguisystems) was just the thing to use with my student. I used the Using His, Her, and Their Fun Deck (Super Duper) to work on he, she, and they.

School –Aged Language:
I made a Finger vs. Fork food chart for one of my students who is having a difficult time knowing when it's okay to use his fingers to eat lunch. It took quite a bit of planning to check the menu for the month, but LessonPix made it very easy to find the pictures I needed (or transfer them from another site) and make perfect pictures. His T.A. is reviewing the chart with him on the days I'm not there.
We also reviewed a social story about test taking. He's in 3rd grade, so we've got to get ready for state testing! We went over the story, then he read a story and answered questions, and we went over the story again. Hopefully by the time testing rolls around (in only 3 weeks!) it will be embedded in his brain!
My older group (which includes a fluency student) wanted to play Joke Dominoes again, so I obliged!

Game Day:
This is my traditional day last session before Easter game:
If you don't have Funny Bunny, put it on your list! The cubes you see in the picture are the Easter Grammar Dice I made on Lessonpix.
(The Groundhog Day Roll-a-Story Story Cubes by K Ratliff (Free)was the inspiration for this activity.)

Craftivity:
It was hard to find a craftivity for Easter (well, it was hard to find a free craftivity), but this one was great! The kids loved it! You can find it here.

If you haven't seen the 2 Facts and a Fib blog hop, check out this post and get on board for your chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card!

I promised a giveaway in my post, so here's your chance to win 1 of 3 products from my TpT store.  (Joke Dominoes, Something's Buggy, or Help the Aliens Get Home)
Leave a comment and include how many total products I have in my TpT Store as well as your email address. I'll use rafflecopter.org to determine the winner! (Closes on 04/07/2015 at 12:55 p.m.)

Have you seen the movie The Patriot? Part of it was filmed in the town where I lived in SC. One time at church, we had a very special visitor!

So...how was your week? What did you do in therapy this week, or what do you have planned for next week?
