I wasn't going to post today, but All Y'all Need is having a link-up, so I decided to join in since I'm new to the speech blogging world!
School-ing: At one of my schools, we have a new Special Ed Preschool Class. The students are just precious, and the teacher is amazing. It's taking a huge chunk of time out of my schedule, so my Wednesdays are a bit hectic with S-Team being in the middle of those days. The evals are going to be interesting: the teacher, psychologist, and myself have never done a preschool team eval, so we'll be winging it for the first time or two.
Excited: We've had some changes in my school system: a new Special Ed Coordinator, and 4 new principals. One of those new principals is at one of my schools. We've had some positive changes so far; I look for more to come.
Prepping: IEPs. Not very original, I know, but that's what I did this weekend!
Trying to not stay at school until 4:30. (see my "School-ing" response!) Add a grad student intern 2 days/week, and no breaks on Wed. (not even a lunch break), and you have the equation for me staying at school that late. Hopefully it will get better! Oh, and about that lunch break: We have S-Team from 11:00-12:00, so the principal told me to just come into that meeting late so I could eat.
There you have my September. We've already been in school for a month...Fall Break is around the corner!
Thanks for linking up! Sounds like a lot of scheduling to work out along with changes! I also have a version of S Team during the school day for the first time this year. Not exactly sure how that's going to work yet. I have a similar goal of leaving at 4:30 this year. Keep us updated on your busy month as it goes along!
